The message behind that show is amazing. The tale of three girls and their creator fighting for justice in a world gone awry is a memorable one indeed. But you must dive beneath the surface to grasp its inner workings. Mojo Jojo, while an evil figure at first, shows another side with his awkward behavior and his usually unseen weakness. With his scalp missing, and his brain exposed to a signifigant degree, one can see that he is not truly evil at heart, but simply a confused and mentally distraught being who knows no other way to express his feelings except through anger. His accent and use of speech also hints of foreign roots, bringing up a powerful point regarding racism and discrimination, such as what he experiences. The red satanic like figure seems like a sadistic mad man, but his pink puffs and feminine figure mean much more than an ironic character. It shows how even the most dominant and imposing person can be something completely different. In the case of this character, his closet homosexual lifestyle. This can also be interpreted as his shield. Living in a society where gays are looked down upon and mocked, he feels it necessary to cover up his god-given sexuality with a more macho and masculine look. And all the meanwhile, the three girls are back in their houses. Content at times, but feuding and bickering at other times, wether it's how they take down a villain or if somebody requires a bath. While their creator and father figure tries to coax them, he sometimes finds their hostility towards him in the blindness of anger. And so they drive the message home of the growing pains and anger of family life that all members eventually go through, while the parental guide encourages bonding and growth on the whole with moral ancedotes and his strives for happiness.
Yes, if Jesus was a show, he'd be The Power Puff Girls.
