He is really popular in the UK, well, popularish. He had a cooking show called "The Naked Chef" where he just freestyled and threw random stuff together, really impressive :)

A fresh face in the culinary world, Jamie Oliver is a talented young man who cooked at the critically acclaimed River Caf? in London for three years.

Restaurants and cooking are in his blood, as his parents own and operate a successful pub/restaurant, The Cricketers, in Cambridge, where he grew up. At eight years of age, Jamie was peeling potatoes and podding peas with the rest of the staff and, by 11, he could julienne vegetables as fast as any of them. When he turned 16, he attended Westminster Catering College, where he completed his formal training.

After appearing on television as part of a documentary on the River Caf?, he was called the next morning by five of the top production companies in England. One of them, Optomen Television (who created Two Fat Ladies) appealed to Jamie, and the first series of the enormously successful Naked Chef went into production.

Jamie also wrote the book, The Naked Chef, to accompany the series. Published by Hyperion, it was number one on the bestseller list for more than 10 weeks. Now 26 years old, Jamie is currently food editor for British GQ magazine and has a regular column with the Saturday Times Magazine.

Jamie's cooking is even in demand by the British government. In 1999, Jamie was invited to 10 Downing Street to prepare a lunch for the British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, who was entertaining the Italian Prime Minister.

In 2000, Jamie married his childhood sweetheart, Jools - although untraditionally, Jamie was awake at 5am on his wedding day, cooking with his dad and a bunch of mates from Monte's!

Jamie spent late 2001 taking his cookery show on the road - the Happy Days Tour was a huge success with over 17,000 people packing into theatres in Cambridge, Bournemouth and London to experience Jamie live in the kitchen. Jamie then took the tour to Australia and New Zealand where he played to sold out crowds in seven cities.

He continues his work as consultant chef at Monte's where he advises on seasonal menus and works closely with head chef Ben O'Donoghue to maintain an exceptional quality of food. Jamie is also currently working with top supermarket chain Sainsbury's, advising to further improve quality and variety of supermarket food, and he has helped design a range of quality cook and tableware for Royal Worcester. He is the food editor for Marie Claire magazine in the UK, contributing a monthly feature.

Jamie's passions are pasta and bread-making. He also plays drums with his high school mates in a band called Scarlet Division. According to Jamie, they sound like a mixture of "Catatonia and Texas with a harder edge."

In 2002, Jamie became a father with the birth of his daughter, Poppy Honey. He lives in London, where he still travels around by motorbike.

Sorry I am not him.  I just happen to be pretty good at cooking and enjoy it as well.

My profession is rather far from Chef,  but jee now I am flattered, lol. ;)

Fuck no I would not.  I make a big ass mess when I cook.  I especially would not want to be naked when I am frying something.

Add a bit of olive oil and some cheese throw in some bread crumbs and some lettuce, and look! you've got an apple pie!
