I'm a direct decendant of some magellan dude or something like that. Apparently he sailed around the world a long time ago.
William Mckinley is on my Dads side of the family.

His second term, which had begun auspiciously, came to a tragic end in September 1901. He was standing in a receiving line at the Buffalo Pan-American Exposition when a deranged anarchist shot him twice. He died eight days later.
I can honestly say there is no one even remotely famous related to me. My parents were both born in Massachusetts and spent most their life here, same with their parents, and somewhere back along the line some mick came over on a boat from Ireland. Out of all my relatives, close and distant, there is not a single mildly famous person among them.
It's up to me to change that. I'm thinking I should either run for president, become an actor, or go on a murderous rampage. As I get older the latter becomes more and more of a possibility.
my moms cousin is frank mahovolich
he's in the nhl hall of fame
other then that on my dads side there is someone famous on the empress of ireland
well, both sides of my family have been in the Americas since pre-revolutionary times. I've had relatives fight in every war America was involved in (and for both sides during the Civil War). The Bradford side of the family arrived on the Mayflower (William Bradford 1590-1657 was a leader of the Pilgrim settlers of the Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts, and became governor of the Plymouth Colony.
