i propose, for convenience sake that the transformer isn't the actual tower, the mechanisc behind keeping everyone in the tower alive as it transforms are beyond complicated and past the allocated budget we would be constrained by. ?we should simply put a transformer next to the towers, and rebuild the towers with the original design. ?it would not only be convenient but add an attractive spark to the NY skyline:
