was having a burn-off this arvo' and while raking some leaves uncovered this beauty:

they're called 'blue tongue lizards' and are members of the skink family :) they grow a bit bigger, are really chilled out animals, and love to lounge about cleaning up the snails + some strawberries.
it would've looked better if you could see the whole tail :(

pretty coo lee. only in tasmania would you find in lizard that big in your bag yard. Here in cali we got lizards, about the size of my index finger.
But did you get head?
