In two days I will be leaving my native land of Massachusetts, which has been my home for most my life, to travel 2200 miles west in search of a new place to live. I will be moving to Colorado, a large mountainous state filled with *gasp* republicans. Bringing only what I can fit in my suitcase, a long flight awaits me.

Known facts about Colorado:
- Rich parents often dress up their children like dolls then murder them.
- High school kids get their kicks by murdering their classmates.
- There's a ton of land, a few cities, and not much in between.
What will I do when I get there?
How long will I stay for?
Who is this mystery state?

These questions remain unanswered for now. I bid you farewell, Massachusetts, as I set off for the great unknown. Our lifelong relationship may be over, but it wasn't you. It was me. Only the future can tell what awaits for me in the great unknown. Wish me luck!

Hopefully I'll only be a few days without my precious internet. However, if things don't work as planned I may be offline for a few weeks.

I'm moving for a number of reasons. I originally wanted to move to California, but I decided it was too expensive and I didn't know anyone there.
The cost of living here is getting increasingly expensive, to the point where I can't afford it anymore. There's also a smaller population, meaning not many jobs are available. I'm moving to a city with 375k people so I should be able to find something. And lastly, there's hardly anyone here my age. There's no colleges or anything that would attract a younger crowd, so it's mostly just old people.
I plan to stay in Colorado for a year to try it out.
