This is one of my favorite local snacks. ?It can also double as a dessert. ?The lumpia wrappers can be found in any korean or asiatic food stuffs store. ?Other wise I will post a recipe to make your own lumpia wrappers. ?Also regular bananas can be used in place of apple bananas if they are not available or if you dont like them.

BANANA LUMPIA

?

Ripe apple bananas (1 banana makes 2 lumpias)

Lumpia wrappers

Brown sugar

1 egg, beaten

oil for frying

Slice each banana lengthwise. ?Sprinkle brown sugar. ?Place flat side down, roll over once tightly, fold sides over and continue rolling to end of wrapper. ?Seal flap with beaten egg. ?Fry at 325 - 350 degrees for 2 - 3 minutes or until golden brown.

Yes, but I prefer homemade.  Preferablly my mother-in-laws.  Mine are pretty good, but not as good.  Though I would say mine are better than Todais.
