I want to move to the US and complete a full study, either Psychology or English.. I'm however a Dutchie, thus not native American! I'd want to study in Georgia (please leave the remarks home, it is what I want) starting next year. Is there anyone with any concrete information on how this would work?

How much would it cost, would it be hard to get a permit to work? I understood that it will cost more for a foreigner?

hmmm :(

ALRIGHT, I looked some more in to it and got enough information to conclude that this is most likely not going to happen

I will have an MBO (Dutch thing) degree in a year. I followed a specific studies which will allow me to get some sort of social job, don't want to explain it all. The point however is that I would have to complete an undergraduate thing in the US. That's like 4 years of general knowledge crap including a major, I can't just only get the major and skip the rest as far as I know - haha. I looked at the prices of college there too and that scared me already.

How much would one be able to do with a major? Is that sufficient to get a decent job, would you have plenty of knowledge on the given subject?
