For some reason, it's taking me longer to burn a CD on this at 32X than burning a cd on my old CDRW at 12X.

wtf could be wrong with it, could it be hard disk fragmentation? should I go chuck it at the shop that sold it off to me? I mean come on. Do these times sound real?

12X = 8:08

24X = 9:21

40X = 9:20

:( jelp! what should I do?

I suggest fire, and lots of it.

Or, yeah, return it.

Check your burning program settings

Make sure you do an accurate test (i.e. same disk, 3 times)

Or Return it

I like my VeloCD.  Lots of people crap on them, but I think it works great.  I have only ever had it fuck up two CDs and one of them was cause the power went out.  :mad:  And they do stick with there bargain. I sent in both bad CDs and they sent me two brand new ones.
