I felt that this needed to be a topic so....
I've been looking for a second job recently and I came upon an ad in the classifieds for a radio hosting position. Well, I called and I started talking to this one lady who said that she might be able to put me up for an on-air position. I have a private interview this Saturday at 11 A.M. (Pacific) and I am so fucking nervous.
I was thinking about wearing regular clothes to come off as a hip guy or going the conservitive look of slacks and a dress shirt. OMFG I AM SO FUCKING NERVOUS. HELP MEH PLZ.
HINTS ADVICE PLZ.

Its American Broadcast Radio. They might use me for either a music format or talk or news. Whichever they want to decide and go with.
Personally I'm trying to get into the music format.

Talk to some of the people that work there and ask how their interview went. American Broadcast Radio doesn't sound like a "hip" station anyways.

Always dress up for an interview. It's one of the unwritten laws of modern society. The employer will certainly be expecting it. If you walk in with a t-shirt and shorts, they'll think of you as some clown who isn't serious about getting the job.
