MikeJ runs a script to stop join floods. It stops them by gradually increasing/decreasing the limit on the chan (+l #), so no more than 3/4 poeple can join in quick sucession.

EDIT: Although he doesnt seem to be around to be running it at the momemnt

If MikeJ quits and no one changes the channel limit (which they usually don't) the channel will reach the limit fairly quickly.

I suppose just messaging an op would be the best way to get in. Or you could join another channel and ask if someone there could change the level in #semicolon-zero. :)
