i'm a member of a message board that has a battle section. ?periodically they have battles that include more than the ppl that challenge each other. ?i'd like to maybe try something like that here to see what some ppl can do

for example there's a monthly battle where a moderator finds a picture, posts that picture for everyone to manipualte how they want, and then everyone posts those pics.

if you guys are interested or have ideas for battles of your own just post them below

this sounds like a great idea. we could really kick this idea off.

It would definitely breath some life into the art section of the forum.

Let's do it, and link the topic on the chillin' section so that the members know it exists.

It'd rule to be able to involve more people in the pongs. :spin:

im sure Cat'd be interested, and others like gl0ry and everyone who's done a wallpaper. and this would be a great chance for others to get the hang of graphic battles.

yeah sounds good to me.

it sounds similiar to what they do with photoshop fridays on the SA forums....though ive never been on the SA forums so i dont know....anyway...it sounds cool.

Sounds cool. However, I'll expect them to be a bit slow paced. Not that that's a bad thing, but I'm sure you know this already. ?:wave:

If you feel you can bring any new people to this forum, go for it. The more the merrier for all of us.

yas, we can do it month by month or however. ?i suppose if you wanted to put in a late submission that'd be just fine. ?not really any strict rules for somethin that's for fun

i suppose if we do stuff like this we should make those threads sticky so they don't disappear ;0

just remembered another type of battle. there's a mural battle where we come up with a list of ppl that will add to the mural. i.e. person 1 posts a pic, person 2 creates a pic and connects it to the previous one by blending the edges of the pics together

yeah, kinda like the devart mosaics. I had exactly that in mind. since we're taking in many influences from other graphic sites, might as well take all that's good. :smash:
