I need some help on conversation starters, please

I have no problem starting conversations about anything, or anyone.

Usual conversation starters for me are based around a diservice, or something I am not satisfyed with. For example I will be talking to a person, and when they ask 'So what were you doing before I called' I always say something like 'I was watching TV, have you ever seen this comercial, it is so stupid yada yada blargh, have you seen it' and then the conversation sorta migrates.

I also am very direct 'So, I heard you packed on a few pounds since we last saw eachother, loose weight fatty' That never works.

or talk about other shit, like injuries, bands you like, good bands you've seen live, how many times you jerk it a day, etc

ok, well i called her, she had something come up though so icall her again in 20 min (actually shes on the job now so lol)

i did better with conversations. but now sometimes i kind of stutter when i start a story. like "uh oh , ah uh yeah, my mom does that too..." yeah ill just try more to be calm

Now the one problem is i still cant think of replies.. she will tell like a story and all i can come up with is "hehe"

Seriously though, it works. Change the word to anything similar. You can just make freaking noises like "Hmmm" and "Ahhh", but as long as the tones change according to the conversation, the other person will often yack away while you nod your head without truly giving a shit. It's worked with most people for me.

Do take care though, because it may just be me.

It still happens sometimes happens to me as well. The main thing is really to be more comfortable with eachother which will then open you people up to talk more comfortably and make things less akward.

Trust me this type of thing always passes. I suppose its because you two are extra careful about what you say or talk about ot eachother since u guys like eachother.

plus lighten on the pot, it makes you fear teh girls. :smash:
