I am currently working on a news posting/commenting script mainly for cavity stash and ;0.com. ?I'm just looking for input on what you clown boats would like see as far as administration or general user access. ? :naughty: I think the ability as an admint o make every comment posted by a user change to "im gay" would be pretty kewl.

Impletment forum code, I generally find it easier to use than HTML when writing without a WYSIWYG ed.
Include stuff like quote and soforth, for news this would be very usefull.
Dont bother with smilies and stuff, they just waste time. Meby make a dir full of the fuckers that people can link to if they want them.
Implement that XML thing for news, i.e. so we can use it in Samurise (ask liek, they use it). I think its called RSS.
Perhaps a seperate form that allows people to use HTTP upload to some dir they can easily link to. This is only realy for those who cant use FTP some times. Doesnt matter that much.
Try to make the news easy to navigate and link. I.e. make it as close to vB as possible, blah.com/showthread.php?topic=999 blah.com/cat.php?catagory=999. Just nice and simple.
Comment ur code and shit incase someone else needs to use it or whatever.
Comments, nothing more than make it like the forum.
