Guys I've somewhat finished up a beta version with all windows skinned and the start menu skinned as well. If you've got StylesXP + winXP try it out now. I've thrown in a wallpaper in there as well. <3

its a nice skin but you need more than just neutral colors, you need some blues or something, maybe similar colors to the forums.

I like every single part of it except for the start button font...reminds me of some city type thing, always hated it, and its just me being picky ^_^

all-around good theme, but a little dull on the colors for me

Very good, I just don't know how to make it my current theme.

I, on the other hand, like the skin precisely how it is.  The font is great, and the colors are superb.  Neutral colors are where it's at for an OS skin, I hate bright and vibrant colors on something that should be more heavily weighed on functionality and ease of use ++  So I llove it ;0 gg AD

omg thanks for the feedback dewds. :D

dubey: go to "view -> status bar" on the menubar of windows explorer.

MC: if you have windows xp, download StyleXP. that'll let you apply ksins to winxp, and you can get some really good skins from www.deskmod.com and www.deviantart.com

nimec & ICeHawk: I'm thinking of putting some color accentuations in there for the other color themes, as well as different start menu styles. one with that font, and one without. :)

Pika: thanks pika :D , i completely agree with you on neutral colors, and am not as big a fan of vibrant colors as i am of neutral eleganty colors. :)
