Well, I live practically next door to the grocery store out here in Los Angeles. I needed to pick up some salad and some bread for dinner.
As I was walking home through the Ralphs (grocery store) parking lot I heard a car honking almost several feet from me. As I turned around I was clipped by it on the right hand side by the light. I flew up on the car hood and rolled off the windsheild and landed on my right ankle the wrong way. The same ankle I had a compound break in when I was younger.
The car seemed to look like a new BMW but I really could not tell. I guess if I ever saw it again I would probably be able to ID it. It drove off pretty fast and I can only assume that it was done on purpose.
Overall I guess I was pretty lucky.
Injury count:
Sprained right ankle
Bruised right shoulder
Minor bruises on my ribs
and very minor scrapes over my body
:(
I'm trying to figure out who the culprit is but I couldn't get a good look at the driver and the passanger wasn't really emblazoned in my mind.
