Guys I need help.

So it's like this. My thumb has swelled up, and it's been like that for 3 days now. It started when I woke up 2 days ago. I just woke up and it hurted n shite. So i feel that there might be some puss trying to get out. Anyways, im wondering... am I gonna lose my finger? *crie*

Could it be an insect bite? wtf i need my freakin thumb k. :(

I have no clue what is wrong and I could speculate all day, but that would not help much at all. My reccomendation would be to see a doctor. Seriously see a doctor and quick. The longer you wait only gives whatever is wrong time to get worse, and in all inevitablity if you keep waiting you very well may lose your thumb.

It would be auto immune disease. That means your body basically makes antibodies to attack its self. My mom has it and her one finger gets swolen sometimes.

Just go to the doctor.

Stop the bleeding and down a fifth of J.D., that should hold you through the shock till you get to the doc.

if u relly think its some kind of puss thing, i suggest bathing it it very hot salty water, that should draw anything to the surface where u can see it and mebe drain it.

at least that works on horses.

argh i just got back from the hospital. it turns out there was puss in the damn thing, and they had to perform minor surgery on it. man they stuffed a thickass needle right into my freakin thumb, and made a 2cm incision. right now the anesthesia is wearing out and im in more pain than celine dion.

just happy i didn't have to lose a thumb. :-\

btw it sux typing with one hand. :o

Least you didnt wait till it exploded. Good to hear that you will be ok though.
