Vacation Pictures

OK guys, this is a little premature for me since I don't actually have the pictures yet (Tori brought the camera, I just took some pictures. She's going to burn em for me. I'll resize and upload)... but I was afraid that if I didn't go ahead and make this thread I'd forget all about it! Plus I'm sure some of you guys will have pictures to post.

Anyway, I just got back from my trip to Costa Rica today and I had an awesome time. We ziplined through the rainforest, saw monkeys in trees, saw a tucan, spotted a hugeass iguana walking back from the beach with Tori, danced half-drunk in an open-air beachside discotheque during a tropical rainstorm (lightning struck close by and blinded me for a second :cool: ), went horseback riding through some place, saw a volcano spilling lava, and overall got rained on for 8 hours every day it seemed. I apologize again for not having pictures, but this seems like a once-in-a-lifetime thing for me so clearly I'm still excited about it.

sounds cool lob. in a another week or so im going on vacation up to maine. my father supposedly bought a digital camera down in dc, so im gonna try to get some photos while im up there. perhaps ill test out the movie feature too

Here's some pics from my trip to Germany and the Czech Republic in May of this year.

Somewhere over the Atlantic

Trainstation in Frankfurt; it was under heavy construction

The Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin

Hotel Adalon (where Michael Jackson held his baby off the balcony)

Unter den Linden (one of the main streets in Berlin)

Russian Embassy (the facade of it still had the Soviet insignia)

The American Embassy was very well defended, the embassy itself is located a block or two down from where I took this

Some Turks protesting about something or other in Berlin

Berliner Dom

Reichstag

A really awesome church before WWII, now it's left as a reminder

After Berlin, we took a train to Prague--the capital of the Czech Republic

The Zizkov Tower up close

The river which runs through Prague

An awesome cathedral in Prague

Wenchelas Square (many anti-communist protests took place here)

After Prague, we went back to Berlin for a few days; here's Checkpoint Charlie

The Embassy of the UAE (sup angeldust)

Reminder of the concentration camps outside of a subway station (it says something to the effect of "We can never forget the horrors which took place at these locations")

After Berlin, we went to Bonn; here's the cathedral there

Cologne is really close to Bonn, and here's the cathedral there

After a day or two in Bonn, we took a train to Frankfurt--this is the old city

The German stock exchange

Frankfurt is the financial capital of Europe; here's the European Central Bank

Maybe I'll also upload the pics from my trip to Italy and France from 2002

Because I had my hand on her ass and that's why she was turning all red. I tried getting her to come to a jazz bar after she finished work but she never showed up :P
