As you can see, I'm sort of lacking in the quasi-rap/hip-hop/pop and slow departments. If you can recommend anything, I'd be grateful (supposed to do this for my school). Also, if you can help me identify which songs are good in the unsorted section, and what genre they belong to, I'd be grateful.

Umm... Closer from Nine Inch Nails? Some stuff from the Beastie Boys? I dunno, "dance music" is a farily broad term for me, and I happen to dislike most of it.

Well, this is supposed to appeal to the majority of high school kids.

Well, if they have any taste then Closer is a good option, maybe even Where Is Everybody from NIN. Beastie Boys should also be great, particularly from Hello Nasty and Licence To Ill. Muse may also have some songs you're looking for. I'd suggest songs like Newborn and Plug In Baby. They also have Feeling Good for sort of a slow song, but there are some times in it where everything gets louder, but then quiets down again.

But as I said before, I tend to dislike most "dance music", so you will really have to check out my reccomendations to see if they're suitable for the occasion.
