I just got my report card yesterday. I think it took so long because our school is breaking under strain. To keep it short, it got too big and ambitious and is now rightfully fucking itself in the ass. But that's not the point of this topic. I would have posted this yesterday, but I think I was a wee bit too drunk to type properly.
My report card was a mixed bag.
6 in English
5 in Drama
5 in Biology
4 in Chemistry
3 in Math
4 in German
4 in PE
3 in Geography
All those scores are out of 7. I need to get at least a 4 in all my subject groups if I am to pass and get my MYP Certificate. They'll take my top score in the subject group and disregard the others. So if I do shit in Physics and Chemistry, they'll only take my 5 in Biology, which is nice. Now, I have no problem with Math since I can easily boost it up to a four or higher. I'm not worried about Geography because my History grade will easily make up for it. As long as I can maintain a four in everything else, I'm fine. However, there is one slight problem.
1 in Computer Technology
I have nothing else in this subject group except for Food Tech, but that class doesn't count for my MYP. Basically, this one grade completely fucks me over from getting my MYP. The only way I can pass is if I get a 7, and there is no fucking way I'm going to achieve that.
The thing is, my Interm report card said that I was doing fine in CT. Right after I got that, we switched over to Food Tech for the remainder of the year. Somehow, during that time, I managed to completely fucking fail the course. I must have been doing horrible and he gave me a good grade or vice versa. Either way, he'a a fucking liar. He was specifically told to inform my parents if I was doing poorly and not once did he call them. When they spoke with him at a Parent-Teacher conference, he told them that I was doing fine. Now, I'm going to admit that I was far from stellar in his class, but his grading makes no fucking sense. I got a 2 on my IT project, but he also said that I worked well in class. Wouldn't that at least qualify me for a 4 or at least a 3?
I'm gonna bring this up with him and he beter change my #### grade, because his shitty judgement could very well stop me from passing the MYP. If I don't get my certificate, I don't know what the #### I'll do. It's not just that I wouldn't pass. I'd be an embaressment not only to myself but also to my family. I could very well kill myself because of that bastard.
