i was over my friends house and we found some of his old estes rockets and fuses. ?Since we were bored we took em outside :D. ?First we took a B engine (i think) and glued wings right onto the engine and launched it. ?It didnt really go far it spiraled and hit the ground :(. ?Then my friend took out this foam plane he had. ?You know the cheap ones that have a wingspan of like 3 feet and they always break. ?Anyway, we took the smallest engine they make and straped it onto the bottom of the rocket and put it on the launch pad thingy. ?I didn't think it would fly, but it did even though it only went like 6-8feet for the ground. ?We then took a B engine and put it on and launched it, eheheh this one went like 20feet in the air and did like a spiral thingy and landed in his neighbors back yard at the edge of the woods....not bad, we ran over there so fast though cuz we thought the woods caught on fire when the engine backfired, all was ok though. ?SO, finally we took a C engine :D. ?HOLY SHIT! ?This thing launched the plane like above the treetops (40-50feet) and again into the neighbor's yard, cept this time it hit a tree and the wing broke :(. ?Oh well, you had to be there it was so fucking funny and cool. ?I can't wait we are gonna go buy a bunch of like D or E engines and make a rocket car to launch down our street, its gonna be so cool.
Oh yeah we also strapped bottle rockets to the same foam plane on the 4th of July and threw it, but the Estes rockets launched the plane further.
